Boiler Service Levels

A Level Boiler Service
Best for boilers aged 1-4 years old
All boilers do have slightly different servicing procedures though, we would ensure your boiler is serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. This will ensure the continued safe and efficient operation of the boiler.
What’s included?
For a 1.5 hour service
Inhibitor top-up available: £23.75 + VAT

B Level Boiler Service
Required at 5 year intervals, i.e. years 5,10,15
A full "B" service is usually required at 5 year intervals, or when tests indicate a B service is required sooner. Worcester Bosch boilers do have a fan pressure test which will indicate if a B service is required sooner.

Oil Boiler Service (Burner & Boiler)
OFTEC certified engineers for oil boiler services
We'll service your oil boiler to manufacturer standards for safe, efficient operation. We can provide a specific estimate based on the make and model of your boiler. We would just need some general information on your system to advise. Perfect for those who want a thorough, manufacturer approved service to maintain efficiency and reliability, this option ensures optimal combustion, reduces the risk of breakdowns, and keeps your oil boiler operating in peak condition.

LPG Boiler Service
Trained LPG gas safe registered engineers
We can service LPG boilers, the procedure is usually the same as a gas boiler service. If you can provide the make and model we will respond with a service quote. We can cover Houses, Residential park homes, Leisure accommodation vehicles.

Add on a Full System Service
Up to an additional hour depending on your system
For homeowners who want a more comprehensive approach to heating efficiency, this add-on extends the service to cover the entire system. It’s designed to improve performance, lower running costs, and provide insights into maximizing efficiency across all connected components.

What’s included in an
A Level Boiler Service?
- Full boiler visual inspection.
- Cleaning of condensate trap.
- During a routine A level service we will drain the boiler and recharge the expansion vessel air pre charge pressure (sealed systems only)
- Cleaning of the system filter, including a system water health check + inhibitor level check.
- Verify correct gas working pressure.
- Flue route visual inspection + Flue integrity check, this verifies all flue seals are intact and provide a good seal.
- Flue gas analysis will be carried out and minimum and maximum rates, we will ensure all readings are within tolerance or adjust as necessary.
- Gas let by and tightness test.
- We will fill out and sign the boiler service log book if it's available.
- We have our own in house service completion certificate which we will also issue which provides a detailed service log.
- We will provide advice on how to maximize the efficiency of your system and controls.
- We will ensure your boiler stat is set correctly for your type of system.
What’s included in an
B Level Boiler Service?
Full A level boiler service procedure as above but with the addition of;
- The burner will be removed and cleaned, it also has to be removed to allow full access into the heat exchanger.
- The heat exchanger will then be cleaned, we will use specific service tools as provided by the boiler manufacturer for the specific model.
- Electrodes are usually replaced during B service on most models.


What’s included in an
Oil Boiler Service (Burner & Boiler)
- The oil burner will be removed and serviced, a new oil nozzle will be fitted.
- Full clean of the boiler's primary and secondary heat exchangers.
- Cleaning of condensate trap.
- Cleaning of magnetic system filter, including a system water health check + inhibitor level check.
- Check and clean oil filter* if a service kit is not available we would replace it, additional part charges would apply.
- Test the oil supply system Fire valve with a Fire valve tester to ensure it is in working order.
- Check and set oil burner fuel pump pressure correctly.
- Carry out flue gas analysis and set air intake correctly, ensuring clean and efficient combustion.
- Visual inspection of the oil storage tank.
- We would issue a OFTEC CD11 service certificate.
What’s included in a
Full System Service?
This would include items external to the boiler such as,
- Check and bleed radiators.
- Drain and recharge external expansion vessel (sealed system only)
- Checking of zone valves, and other associated controls to ensure they are in working order, this can ensure maximum system efficiency, helping to reduce running costs.
- We will provide advice on how to maximize the efficiency of your system and controls.
- Oil tank check, we will dip test for water contamination. (Oil boilers only).
- Oil supply line filter to be serviced or replaced. (Oil boilers only).
